About

Hi I’m Rachel! I’m an EECS PhD student at MIT, where I’m fortunate to be advised by Manish Raghavan.

I’m broadly interested in human-AI collaboration and decision-making in AI systems. I’ve recently been thinking about how AI affects human problem-solving and creative processes. I also enjoy applying statistical tools and mechanism design to study AI safety and evaluation. Always excited to chat about interesting problems of all kinds, so please feel free to reach out!

I previously worked at Citadel Securities as a Fundamental Analyst. Before that, I received my B.A. in Computer Science and Statistics from Harvard, where I was advised by Ariel Procaccia on my senior thesis. I’m grateful to be supported by an MIT Lemelson Engineering Presidential Fellowship and NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
